GOAL: For Brave Girls to discover the freedom awaiting them in a life with Christ. He desires to see them walking in complete freedom, carrying no heavy burdens. He is powerful enough to break any invisible chains that they have been carrying, so they can step fully into the life He desires them to have, as well as create new legacies for their children and generations to come!

• Don't forget to bring the I am Free bracelets to class this week!
• It might be smart to grab the tissues again! This week can be a big one as the girls share any burdens/hard things they have been carrying, so expect some tears and heaviness.
• If you notice any of the girls being more reserved, give them an extra check in this week. They may have been holding a few things back with the group, that they would be willing to share one-on-one!
Supplies: Heavy Chains or Paper Chains, I am Free Bracelet, Study Guide to write in, pens
Breaking Chains: They will write out their chains in the study guide and get with a leader who will place the heavy chains on her lap as an example of what carrying heaviness feels like and how it weighs us down. The Brave Girl shares any of the things she wrote down, they pray together and then she gets an I am Free bracelet.
Have any counseling resources available in case anyone shares something heavy during the breaking chains exercises. This is a great time to share with each BG that when they invite Christ into their lives, they receive the power and authority to break off the things that have been holding them back, even things that have been happening for generations. If anyone hasn’t received Christ, this is a great time to offer the opportunity to do that!
